Summary: In Watching this movie you will find some discontinuty problems with the music matching the motions. At the Organ scene the music swells while August is playing but the hands of the player remain still. In the Concert scene you will find that the Orchestra begins without the conductor starting them. Big NO!NO!! Also that during the playing of the piece August's hands start shaking while the Orchestra is still in the last 3rd of the song.
Summary: This is one of my very favorite movies of all time, among those such as Crash and Patch Adams, that truly reveals the places of music and depth that goes beyond common understanding and the charts. You will never forget this touching, warm, and heart-tugging creation! And if you have a Blu-Ray player and at least a 5.1 channel surround sound receiver or processor with subwoofer, this is the best way to feel and watch this movie on Blu-Ray as recorded and intended by the...
Pros: Broad Appeal, Emotionally Engaging, Engaging Characters, Great Cinematography, Original Story, Talented Cast
"August Rush" touched something buried deep inside my soul seventy six years ago.

Summary: This movie "August Rush" really touched my soul. I was an orphan and identified with this child's yearning and searching for his parents. Near the end of the movie, I started to cry like a baby. "August Rush" touched something tender buried deep inside my soul seventy-six years ago. My father was killed in a car accident three days before I would have celebrated my third birthday. My father was also Irish and looked a lot like August Rush's father.
Summary: This is an urban fairy tale. If you go to AUGUST RUSH with the intention of poking holes in it, you can find little glitches and logic flaws. On the other hand, if you are looking for a movie that will sing to your soul (and show you some beautiful eye candy as a bonus), look no farther. The casting director and cinematographer should each get an award. This gem of a movie takes us on a journey, and the people we meet along the way are well worth the ticket price.
