Excerpt: This is a lovely film. Very funny in parts and always on the right side of charming. Having not seen this at the cinema Im not sure what the correct colour palette should look like, the film is soft focus and unnatural colours in places, but I presume that is how the film was intended..
Excerpt: I sure love this movie. I watched it years ago for the very first time and liked it. I recently found it at my local store and decided to bring it home. I absolutely loved this movie. The decors are great, Audrey sets a great character with Amélie, who is really playful and dreamy.
Excerpt: Love this film - one of my favourites. Audio quality is superb; video can be a little soft (although I suspect this if more to do with the stylistic choice of the director rather than the Blu-ray transfer).
Excerpt: This charming French tale follows the life of Amélie Poulain (played by Audrey Tautou) as she decides to do good in the world. Excerpt: I took a chance and decided to check this out -- AH! Another blind buy! -- and I was happy I did. (The reviews were good.) "Amelie" is a lot of fun. It's filled with charm and surprises and whimsy -- and random tidbits of life and love. Cheesy? Corny? Yeah, maybe a little..

Excerpt: This transfer is a good example of just how good Blu-ray can look on a not so recent film with a careful and exacting transfer. Just a superb image with striking colors and great sound. Lionsgate did a very nice job with this release.
