Summary: This is the second film by John Moore that I've seen and it will be the last. The first star is for the freeway chase which is genuinely thrilling. The second star is for Jai Courtney who I believe could be a big action star. He deserves better than this movie but I can understand that it must have been great exposure.
Summary: Well, it didn't have the originality of the first 3 and I haven't seen the 4th, but, well, it's a Die Hard film so you must be a little wise to the possibilities of what you're going to be watching.......... With the demise of the Soviet Union, here is the all American excuse to have a go at shooting at the 'old' bad guys again - and within the confines of the former USSR! Marvellous!
Summary: Terrible, anyone that says Bruce is on form clearly didn't watch this film. It's sad to see him shooting a gun whilst pointing it at the floor, whilst accompanied by a crap story, crap script and crap directing! I grew up with seeing Bruce Willis in some awesome films; original die hards 1, 2 and 3. Fifth Element is my all time favorite! Sixth Sense etc etc..
Summary: I found his a very entertaining film, its a fast paced film with all the right ingredients, Bruce Willis is on form and for the first time at least for me we get to know his son who was well played and l would like to see him again. The plot was somewhat fantastical but what the hell it was still good to watch. l don't know why there are so many moaners out there, saying its boring etc. perhaps they're boring as well.
Summary: There are so many inconsistencies in this movie that I invite you to switch your brain off and just go with the flow. Don't ask yourself any questions, the story doesn't make sense just go with that. The action is everywhere so enjoy.
Time to cose the Die Hard Franchise if this is the best that can be produced.

Summary: This was by far the worst Die hard Movie. The first three were great action films, the fourth I found enjoyable. This however was so Dull. It even appeared that Bruce Willis was not enjoying playing the role which made him a star. Luckily I fell asleep and missed the final 20 minutes. I would not recommend this. Anyone who say this is as good as the first three needs their head testing!!
Summary: Loved the 1st, admired the 2nd, enjoyed the 3rd but I think we should have stopped there… the 4th was just about reasonable but this, the 5th in the franchise, has no background, no life - just a lot of bullets & bangs for no fathomable reason… & Bruce, you're getting a bit long in the tooth for this… surely you don't need the money that badly to pick up a script this lame?
Summary: Believe the reviewers that say BORING! Really, I was surprised quite how boring this film was. If I could see the script I think it would be about a page long. Even John Maclanes funny quips were poor and just repeated throughout the film. The film opens with the feel of a dark and sinister thriller, but quickly descends into a very standard shoot em up.
Excerpt: Let's be realistic, the only classic Die Hard film is the first and the rest have tried hard to emulate this to varying degrees of success. Here the only connection appears to be that Bruce Willis shows up as John McClane and seemingly sleepwalks through the entire film. The initial setup and first 30 minutes or so are actually well-done and intriguing, but once Willis teams up with Courtenay, the film descends into a by-the-numbers action film with plot twists that are...
Excerpt: Movie: Ok, so this is definitely the worst of the series. It has none of the magic of the original. Getting that out of the way it is a bland, reused story. Hero goes to different country to save family member... blah blah. The acting is pretty terrible, and other than a few large explosions and some slow motion action scenes at the end this was pretty terrible all the way through. One thing that made it borderline unwatchable was the extreme shaky cam.
