Summary: Chuck" Baker lands on Planet 51 to proudly claim it for the U.S. only to find it inhabited by a quaint society of green men who want nothing to do with alien invaders. This movie fails on jokes and voice acting.
Excerpt: Probably, the bad publicity or subjective opinions about this movie is due it was not made by a very famous studio as pixar or dreamworks, but beyond the business interests, this is a very good animated movie. The colors, the design of characters, the escenarios and the story are excellents! I feel this is one of the best movies ever made outside USA. The Bluray has an extraordinary image quality.
Summary: This is a good animation for everybody all ages across 00 to12. its plot was fascinating enough[just enough] for the kids and the actors did only enough. However, some parts were boring, vague and repetitive, especially the ones around the soldiers and the astronaut. If you have small kids you can definitely buy them this but not for you or the teens.
Excerpt: Not a great animation film i've seen. Its rather rejoices kids than adults. PQ & AQ is OK. You can watch this once and i dont think you wanna see this again unless you kids insist. P/S : The embossed slipcover is cool . Lot more reviews coming.
Excerpt: Just got finished watching this movie and I REALLY ENJOYED IT. Maybe it's because I went in expecting to watch a decent movie after all the negative and plain hateful reviews I read before I bought it. The main reason I took a chance on this film and bought it was because it had an original story and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.
Excerpt: where do I start? The PQ and sound are all up to blu-ray standard but the movie itself is just so BLAND. I have not been able to finish this movie in one sitting. I find myself falling asleep during the movie every single time. it's rental at best.
