Works for a short time, so save up to buy a replacement

Lee, Amazon
19 January 2014
  • Summary: I didn't read enough reviews before buying. This thing works flawlessly until out of warranty then most everyone I've seen has the same problem. You can buy a $60-80 wirelss adaptor, doubling the effective cost of this player, or expect it to stop every few minutes and go black when trying watch anything. Complete junk. Spend $5 and buy something that actually works.

Good Product, Great value!

BANKOLE OLUFEMI "He reigns in awesome majesty..., Amazon
12 December 2013
  • Summary: I was attracted to buy this Blu-Ray player because of the affordable price and the features it offers. Even though the internet conectivity is not ready because it lacks the Wi-Fi adaptor, it is good value for the money. It loads movies very fast and the 3D movies look great and flawlessly. The only way you can connect this blu-ray player is through HDMI interface, no component video output available, so check for and HDMI input in your TV before you buy this player.

Won't play some Blu-ray dvds.

Nancy Brown, Amazon
6 November 2013
  • Summary: It won't play some of the Blu ray dvds from Redbox. I thought that there was a problem with the Redbox dvds but I purchased another Blu ray player out of frustration and it will play all Blu ray dvds without a problem.

Adequate so far....

TheaterNut, Amazon
9 September 2012
  • Summary: I bought this for a friend who was on a budget and trying to get into the 21st century. The only thing I can say so far is that is seems to work just fine. is not connected to wi-fi. you need an adapter or a direct hook up. They haven't used it much, but the set up was fairly simple. I use a ps3 for my blu ray and this one actually seems a bit faster loading up. Picture quality is what you expect out of a blu ray. haven't played with the 3d as of yet.

NEVER BUY TOSHIBA

Joe "Joe", Amazon
19 June 2012
  • Summary: IT WASNT TIL AFTER I LOST THE ABILITY TO TURN THIS PIECE OF CRAP ON THAT I LEARNED TOSHIBA ONLY WARRANTIES IT FOR 90 DAYS! I USED IT 5 TIMES TOTAL IN 6 MONTHS AND THEN IT WOULDNT WORK. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A TOSHIBA BEFORE, I WILL NEVER DO SO AGAIN. ALSO, IT'S BEEN 6 MONTHS AND THE PRICE IS STILL 89 DOLLARS. I WILL CERTAINLY WATCH FOR LESS THEN 1 YEAR WARRANTIES IN THE FUTURE.

Did not last...

Steve Renfrow, Amazon
13 June 2012
  • Summary: This unit runs HOT. I use a fan blowing on the case to keep it cool and it still only lasted six months. Tonight I was playing a 3D BLU-RAY and after 8 minutes it froze up and I had to use my LG player to finish the movie. This is a bummer to me because I like this player with the network and the 3D all in one unit. Now I'm looking again for a unit to buy that I hope will last more than 6 months.
