Summary: After reading all the very negative reviews for this little player,i'm truely shocked at it's highly underated performance, its small, looks good, all nice n shiny and a star performer,in fact it is the best blu-ray disk player i have ever used (which is quite a few, such as what hi-fi's highly award winning sony bdp-s380) and i haven't experienced any of the issues other folk on here have, everything works great n also not one bit noisy, whilst spinning disks as others have...
Summary: it says on the box that it is wifi. ok that a lie. to be wifi it need a dongle you have to buy. or you have to plug the blue ray player to your router. so it depend where the router is in your home. because you also need to connect the machine to the tv. well toshiba next time you could say on the outside box that for wifi it need a dongle. and ho yes the machin is slow to start. takes a bunch of minutes.

Maybe I just got a good one but I have not experienced any of the problems that other owners seem to have done. It connected to my Wi-Fi straight away and I have not experienced any drop-outs even though the router is on a different floor in the house.
Summary: Not fit for purpose. what they don't tell you is this unit will only connect to the internet via their apps, beyond the featured apps; BBCiplayer and news, Facebook, Netflix, Youtube and miracast they don't offer anything else. Connection to the internet with this model does not require a dongle or AP but the instructions aren't intuitive so good luck. Didnt even waste time trying the disk player, this unit is cheap and extremely limited.
