Summary: I have had this model for over 2 years now, it almost always works fine. I use Netflix & Vudu on it thru the internet. I have a network cable running into the back of it because it didn't always work so well on the wi-fi, so that solved that issue. The only problem I ever have with it now is that if I leave it on for too long, it seems to freeze up, and the only thing that fixes it is to unplug it and re-plug.
Summary: one thing that i love about this player that i didnt know it could do before i got it is the abiity to connect to my laptop and stream videos, music and picturesto my tv. it considers my laptop a media server. spmething ive been wanting to do for a long time. the one problem with this feature is it locks up when you get the nd of the list and requires a unplu plg in reset.the other problem id with the cinema now app missing the my movies list option on the menu.
Summary: the performance is slow, but, i guess i'd expect that for the price. it's my first blu ray, so i'm fascinated, but, i got mine cheaper at ubid. it does everything it's suppose to. but, careful on hitting to many buttons at once. gotta unplug it. i use my fiance'e's netflix, and i'm not impressed. so i just download movies and play them through my flashdrive. no complaints cept it should perform faster.
Toshiba BDX3300 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Player with WiFi GOOD FOR MY FAMILY ROOM!

Summary: Toshiba BDX3300 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Player is a basic compact player good enough for a small family room. Easy to connect to your hd tv or to your stereo system. It only has one HDMI port and no RCA ports, so the choices are limited. The on-screen navigation was easy to follow to set to my viewing preferences after connecting to a Toshiba lcd tv (the cable is not included) I trust Toshiba products and my hope is my investment will give me years of enjoyment!
Summary: Purchased this unit after returning an RCA Blue Ray home theater system. Everything on the TOshiba seems to be working the way it should. Set up was easy although upon initial start, the player went through three or four upgrades which took a few mins. I have it connected to my router via an ethernet cable so i cant speak for the wi-fi option. Blue rays play like they should, streaming netflix, vudu, and cinemanow work as promised.
Summary: Found this on sale during the run up to Black Friday, well worth the $65 I paid. Very happy with the Wi-Fi networking and the Netflix streaming. For those complaining about the random icons appearing on-screen during BD playback I had the same gripes but after hacking through a ton of menu options I believe I found the right settings to prevent these. Compared to my Sony Blu-Ray I like the Toshiba better for viewing video files off of a USB drive.
Summary: The reason why I have titled this review as "advanced" is because it is one of the few players that have WiFi with dual band to stream video better at 5GHz. Other than that the interface is user-friendly and it is worth the money.
Summary: I was searching for current model Benjamin-priced BD streaming players with built-in 5 GHz 802.11n and almost resorted to older (1-2 year old) models. I knew I'd regret the choice because of their dated interfaces that would never be updated. I then was about to pull the trigger on a couple current models without built-in WiFi and planned on using the Netgear WNCE3001 (still have it in the box) on my 5GHz band of choice, but I came across this model built-in WiFi for...
