Summary: I picked up a reconditioned model... unfort there were problems from the start. The machine did not recognise that there was a disc in, the player would not eject ( had to switch it off for an hour....and at the mo the wifi was slow. However company was happy to collect it and get it looked at.... so we'll see. They said i'd hear in two days from service dept. Player picked up on time.... waiting for outcome from the service dept due to tomorrow... still 3 stars..
Summary: Bought it to go with the Toshiba bedroom tv. Thought the remote control could have worked the tv like Samsung units do! Wrong, no integration or thought for the user. Does the job but no frills or feeling that you want to buy from Toshiba for next electrical purchase... Sorry next time will not be them!

Summary: This machine works extremely well with great image quality. The remote is very small and difficult (for me) to read what the button titles say. No complaints although, it works fine and I'm happy with the build quality and menu system. Pleased with this purchase.
mmmmmm Think twice...... Better Toshiba models available

Summary: Needed A 2nd Blu-Ray player as a feed for a beamer in a 2nd room in The past I had a Toshiba BDX2100 (bought circa late 2010) - sound & trustworthy player so I ordered one a 2nd one from Amazon - in the meantime I saw this model the Toshiba BDX3300 with you-tube access etc So sent back the BDX2100 & kept this Well all in all it was not the best choice compared with the cheaper BDX2100 i think it fails on a number of points many of these touched on in other reviews 1:...
Summary: This is just a quick warning for anyone else thinking of using this player in a bedroom (as we have). Whilst connected to the mains, it will wake up in the middle of the night (around 4am UK time), presumably to check for firmware updates. As we've connected it to a CEC enabled Toshiba TV, it turns on too! I've checked through the menu's to see if I can turn off the feature, but so far I've failed.
Summary: Pros: + USB plays many different video formats + wifi and youtube/iplayer work perfectly + fairly quiet Cons: - Remote control is bad both in design and signal quality. - Crashes from time to time when dealing with blu-ray menus. - Picture viewer can't read .png files I don't regret buying this product but the remote really is awful, and a markedly worse one than the previous model has.
