Summary: I can't use this blu-ray player, with a wireless lan adapter because it can only use with a toshiba adapter and the n network system. I have a g network system. Thet want 100 for the adapter and more for a n network system setup.
Hopefully this one will work better than the last one

Summary: When I played a dvd, the volume kept dipping down and then back up every few sec. And I couldn't turn off the subtitles by turning them off in the dvd menu. So I got a replacement today, and the volume doesn't dip down - tho I'm puzzled about why I had to turn the volume up 3 or 4 times during the movie because it seemed to have become too soft. And the subtitles don't turn off in the dvd menu - you have to use the SUB button on the remote.
Summary: I typed the Title in Japanese because thats about how much good the manual is. Incomplete users manual and poorly engineered menu structure, otherwise not a bad unit. It does lose it's mind once in a while but not frequenly. The problem I had was connecting it to the wireless network. There are absolutely no directions in the manual as this is an automatic function the first time wireles network connection is selected.
Summary: Cheap, but a few annoying things: The remote only works if you are directly in front of the player. The smart capabilities are limited - the UI is very sluggish and it takes forever to browse YouTube using the on-screen keyboard. As a blu-ray player, it's fine. And as a smart player, yes, you can use Android's pairing facility to show YouTube sent from your phone/tablet. But that's about it. I'm thinking of getting a Chromecast to properly do the smart tv conversion job.
Summary: I picked up a reconditioned model... unfort there were problems from the start. The machine did not recognise that there was a disc in, the player would not eject ( had to switch it off for an hour....and at the mo the wifi was slow. However company was happy to collect it and get it looked at.... so we'll see. They said i'd hear in two days from service dept. Player picked up on time.... waiting for outcome from the service dept due to tomorrow... still 3 stars..
