Decent Player

E. Verhamme "Eddie V.", Amazon
11 March 2013
  • Summary: I only bought this for the internet enabled services and it is VERY slow for that purpose. It doesn't have all of the online services as Sony, but overall a decent and well priced product.

Chuutohanpa torietsu

KCW, Amazon
17 December 2012
  • Summary: I typed the Title in Japanese because thats about how much good the manual is. Incomplete users manual and poorly engineered menu structure, otherwise not a bad unit. It does lose it's mind once in a while but not frequenly. The problem I had was connecting it to the wireless network. There are absolutely no directions in the manual as this is an automatic function the first time wireles network connection is selected.

Nice features, good price, DLNA works well

Gary J. Thompson "Gary", Amazon
7 November 2012
  • Summary: The unit works quite well and is easy to setup. It occasionally locks up playing a video file and requires a power down but that seems to happen with other players that I have.

Good value but user interface is v slow

Roy Apps, Amazon
13 May 2014
  • Summary: Cheap, but a few annoying things: The remote only works if you are directly in front of the player. The smart capabilities are limited - the UI is very sluggish and it takes forever to browse YouTube using the on-screen keyboard. As a blu-ray player, it's fine. And as a smart player, yes, you can use Android's pairing facility to show YouTube sent from your phone/tablet. But that's about it. I'm thinking of getting a Chromecast to properly do the smart tv conversion job.

Poor Quality... but service good

JZ MAYO, Amazon
22 January 2014
  • Summary: I picked up a reconditioned model... unfort there were problems from the start. The machine did not recognise that there was a disc in, the player would not eject ( had to switch it off for an hour....and at the mo the wifi was slow. However company was happy to collect it and get it looked at.... so we'll see. They said i'd hear in two days from service dept. Player picked up on time.... waiting for outcome from the service dept due to tomorrow... still 3 stars..

reasonable Blu Ray player

Simon74, Tesco
13 December 2013
  • Summary: Bought it to go with the Toshiba bedroom tv. Thought the remote control could have worked the tv like Samsung units do! Wrong, no integration or thought for the user. Does the job but no frills or feeling that you want to buy from Toshiba for next electrical purchase... Sorry next time will not be them!
