Summary: The device locks up constantly and needs to be unplugged to reset. When the eject button is hit, you have to grab your DVD/Blu Ray ASAP or it will close. VERY FRUSTRATING Once you get it running, it plays Blu Ray and DVDs ok. The DVDs even are a little clearer, crisper, bypassing all the other frustraing.
Excellent Blu-Ray playback with dire wifi operation

Summary: On the plus side the player is compact and attractively designed, playback of both dvd and blu-ray is first rate and at less than £50 it's hard to knock the price. The problems arise if you expect the unit to operate effectively as anything other than a disc player. The wifi connection is prone to dropping out assuming you can make it connect at all.
Summary: After unpacking this I was quite happy till I went to connect it to my TV ,the programing to connect this unit is a nightmare, after contacting this company I was asked to phone Toshiba helpline direct, well for a start the help line numbers at a prime cost so i didn't bother as we all know the time it takes. The unit was sent back for a refund.
Summary: While the quality of the playback is excellent, the blu-ray unit itself is one of the worst I've ever had. The remote control is next to useless. Unless you are within a metres range it barely works. The unit turns itself on automatically when I turn the TV on meaning I have to switch it off. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue but as the remote is rubbish, I have to go up and turn it off. Also it doesn't turn off right away.
Summary: Before ordering this item, I did a bit of research on it and found that the biggest problem is that it would freeze and has to be unplugged to be reset. I ignored those reviewers because I just thought they didn't really know what they were doing. I was wrong in doing so. The first month I had this player I experienced it freezing once. I thought to myself that it wasn't uncommon and would probably happen infrequently.
