Summary: I have had this model for over 2 years now, it almost always works fine. I use Netflix & Vudu on it thru the internet. I have a network cable running into the back of it because it didn't always work so well on the wi-fi, so that solved that issue. The only problem I ever have with it now is that if I leave it on for too long, it seems to freeze up, and the only thing that fixes it is to unplug it and re-plug.
Summary: Bought the BDX3300KU from a local Best Buy. Pros: >WIFI setup is simple and straight forward, but sometimes doesn't pickup DHCP addresses. > DVD/BLUray playback can be configured to start automatically when a disk is inserted (or not). Works just fine; no delay btwn video and sound. > Low price > Light (only 2.2 lbs) and typical 1U form factor Cons: > ugly, archaic circular menu style. Not nice or pleasing to navigate. > Remote does not light up.
Summary: I bought this blu-ray player less than a year ago. We have had significant problems with it overheating, turning off randomly, and freezing. Recently, the product will no longer connect to the network/wifi. Toshiba customer support was called and the service was poor. They insulted me for not just going to buy a new product and said that they only guarantee their products to last 90 days. I am incredibly disappointed in this product and Toshiba.
Summary: I bought this last year and am already replacing it. It's buggy and slow to load. It constantly freezes. One time I had to go so far as completely unplugging the device in order to get a disc out. The unit does play dvds, blu rays, and netflix OK, but when playing the Matrix trilogy blurays, there was 2 annoying white icons up in the upper right hand corner of the screen on the upper black bar, totally eliminating any possibility of total immersion into the movie.
