Among the media formats that the player can gain access to are DivX video, JPGs and MP3 files. The player also comes with BD Live. It features several connectivity options such as composite video, HDMI and USB. The player comes with an HDMI v1.4 socket. The player supports digital media playback via USB. It is designed in a solid package in a glossy black finish with slimline dimensions. The Toshiba BDX3100 measures 360 x 45 x 232 (WxHxD) mm and weighs 1.7kg.

Features

The Toshiba BDX3100 Blu-ray player comes with a range of features. Toshiba has provided BD Live on this Blu-ray player, which is available via the Ethernet socket. On the front panels, there are several buttons that can be found. On the right, there’s a USB port and in the middle, there’s the LED display. There’s an HDMI v1.4 socket on this player that can be used to output 3D pictures and HD audio. It also supports Deep Colour and CEC, which are other HDMI trimmings. There are also several other connectors that can be found on this Blu-ray player such as composite video and analogue stereo outputs, and an Ethernet port for BD Live access. This Blu-ray player offers Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio decoding/bitstream output and 1080/24p video output, which are heavily used when watching HD movies. The player comes with several settings, which allow the users to adjust the levels of brightness, contrast, hue and saturation.
