Summary: I bought the blu ray player a year and a half ago. It's sometimes frustrating with loading blu rays and its wireless connection, but before today it hadn't failed ever totally failed me. The remote has died on me, and the customer service is incapable of replacing it.
Summary: Toshiba advertises on their website to have HULU. So I buy a BDX2250. No HULU. It has VUDU which you have to pay for everything as you watch it. It has blockbuster, which is out of business and Picasa? Who cares! This is going back to the store today.
Summary: Unfortunately we bought this before checking out reviews because of the cheap price and Toshiba brand. The player worked fine for DVDs and Netflix at first. About 3 weeks later, it started having problems turning on and stopped playing DVDs and Netflix.
Summary: I bought this unit not to long after buying a 47" LG LCD TV. The price was right and I'd been quite happy with the Toshiba laptop I'd had for several years so I thought it would make a nice match for the new TV. Was I ever wrong! Actually the unit works great......when it boots up.
Summary: We bought this hoping it would be a good basic player with the ability to watch streaming videos. We've had good luck with Toshiba products in the past and figured it would probably play well with our Toshiba TV.
Summary: I bought this blu ray on 12/15/11 from HH Gregg. I will be returning it on 12/31/11. The player performed well initially. I have it connected to my home network via a cable. I thought that streaming would be faster and picture quality would be better.
Summary: This Blu ray playware is in dire need of a firmware update. The picture is fabulous and that is about it since it suffers from the following. 1) Difficulty reading certain Blu Ray discs, loud noises searching and sometimes restarting from the beginning of the disc. 2) Weak WiFi connection.
Summary: ...which is not a lot. It's small, fairly good looking in a nondescript kind of way, is not riddled with buttons on the front panel, has Wifi and Netflix (nice combo) and a remote with an OK set of buttons. Speaking of which (the remote that is), it has some weird connectivity problem.
