Summary: Bought 2 of these ... exchanged one. Replacement works so far. Fingers crossed. Second one worked fine for a while ... now it freezes, glitches and skips video. My discs play fine on PS3. Out of warranty now so I'm SOL. Bad batch from the factory? Will not buy a Toshiba product again. Sony Cinavia is BS.... so replacing with a Samsung.

Summary: Yes, that is right. I am in need of my third Toshiba Blu-Ray/DVD player in six months. Please take my review very seriously. Within the first two months of use, our Blu-Ray/DVD player started skipping, shutting off and not responding to commands. I contacted Toshiba, and was relieved to learn that they replace all defective electronics through their Acclaims Department and a website called Toshiba Direct. What a joke!
Summary: Had it for about two months and the remote died. Now that we replaced the remote it won't read BluRay discs. DVDs, yes, BluRays, no. I even tried the disc that used to work. I don't have any problem with accessing Netflix, but I can do that from my kids' WII. These are just junk. I'll try cleaning the optics, but after reading the reviews I'm not very hopeful.
Item does not play my discs. rejects all, no use to me... want to return...

Summary: It wil not play any of my Discs. it just rejects them. like my playstation 3 games. it is useless. I want to return to sender and order something that works. Please advise return products procedure for I have never had to do same....
Summary: This Toshiba BDX2250 is the 2nd one. Very disappointed, both of them after 4 months, cannot turn On no matter what. From beginning, my wife told me that I should return since it have problem to turn on. But I though I could give it a try.
Summary: I bought this blu-ray player about a year ago and it recently started displaying picture distortion and skipping. I only use the player about 2-4 times a month, so it really hasn't been used that much. I tried cleaning the lens and that didn't help. Now I have to buy a different blu-ray player. Don't waste your time or money on this product.
