Excerpt: Into The Blu ========= Since Blu-Ray has become the standard for high definition optical media the prices of the players has been quite rapidly declining. It's now possible to get a decent Blu-Ray player at sub £100 prices.
Summary: This is not a high-end, all singing, all dancing model but if you're looking for a basic way in to HD BluRay movies then you could do a lot worse. The only disappointment is the remote which verges on the spongy and unresponsive.
Summary: Looked for a basic Blue ray player to go with HD TV recently purchased. As the TV was Toshiba it was logical to get a player of the same make. By doing so, am able to use the same remote. As others have reported, it is a bit noisy when loading/unloading, but when playing you don't hear it working.

It is perfect for watching European sourced content in the USA .I bought one while visitng UK but you can have one shipped for not much more.
