Toshiba BDX2100

19 April 2014
  • Summary: The Toshiba BDX2100 is a decent Blu-ray player, but not one that has us jumping with excitement. As great as it is to see a player for £80, we think Sony's £100 machines offer significantly more, for not much extra cash.
  • Cons: Nasty menus;. no online content.

Toshiba BDX2100KE Blu-Ray Player

24 August 2011
  • Excerpt: We are finally starting to see several Blu-ray players hitting the market at sub-£100 prices, so if you haven’t already experienced Hi-Def content and are constricted by budget, there couldn’t be a better time to start. The Toshiba BDX2100KE Blu-ray player is available from around £95, but does that make it a bargain, or will such a low price offer a low-grade performance?

Toshiba BDX2100

What Hi-Fi?
13 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Toshiba is still playing catch-up a little bit with Blu-ray players. Sony is already on to its fifth generation with models at various prices, boasting features that include wireless connectivity and catch-up TV. The BDX2100, in contrast, is only Toshiba's second ever Blu-ray deck. The BDX2100 has all the basic features that you'd expect at this price: HDMI output, and 1080p/24fps playback. The inclusion of 256MB of built-in memory is a bonus.
  • Pros: Easy to use, price, good Blu-ray picture
  • Cons: Could upscale DVDs better, lacking on the feature front

Toshiba BDX2100KE

27 September 2012
  • Conclusion: Die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung gibt Toshiba mit 199€ an.
