Toshiba BDX2000

CNET
19 April 2014
  • Summary: The Toshiba BDX2000 is a pretty decent Blu-ray player at an affordable price. We wouldn't have expected the company to put its heart into supporting the format that crushed HD DVD, but it's done an impressive job with this machine.
  • Cons: Slow disc-load speed; hideous remote control; sluggish handling of BD-Live content; no in-built storage.

Toshiba BDX2000 Blu-ray player review

Pocket Lint
1 January 2010
  • Excerpt: The loser in the Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD format war a few years ago, it's taken the Japanese giant almost 2 years to lick its wounds and make a return to the high-def market. While hardly the most impressive or feature-packed deck around, as a culmination of a few years' hard work, the BDX2000 is a reasonably impressive effort.
  • Pros: Detail from Blu-ray, DVD upscaling, colours, music
  • Cons: No Wi-Fi connectivity, no built-in memory, expensive

Toshiba BDX2000 review

Stuff.tv
15 December 2009
  • Summary: The Blu-ray versus HD DVD format war ended back in February 2008, when Toshiba announced that it was halting production and development of its HD DVD players. And now, after months of digging its heels in and avoiding the inevitable, the company has finally produced a machine that it can bring to the Blu-ray party: the BDX2000. Toshiba’s Blu-ray deck has a simplistic look and cheap feel that we’ve come to expect from machines of this ilk.

Toshiba BDX2000: Blu-ray-Player mit scharfem Bild

CNET
17 March 2010
