Summary: I've seen some comments relating to the model number for the all-regions variation of this player. Apparently some have found that the player they received was only a Region 1 player if there was a "KU" affixed at the end of the model number on the back of the player.
Summary: I have played a lot of region 1 and 2 DVDs and region A/1 (U.S.) Blu-rays now and all played perfectly. I haven't played the other regions yet, however. You don't have to do anything more than put the disc in and the machine automatically determines the format.

Summary: This player was easy to set up. It is a bit clearer than our last DVD player but the difference in clarity is not remarkable. However, we are slight technophobes and this device is nice and easy to use.
Summary: Not the easiest to understand for a technophobe, but does what it was bought for. It does freeze up if you leave it turned on when not in use so needs to be switched of at the plug occasionally, but other than that great value.
