23 March 2013
  • Summary: I believe that when companies to a great job for consumers, we as consumer should praise them with our wallets. That is the case of the Toshiba BDK21. After buying BD players from Samsung and Sony I had to return both. They both sold there players as having apps like Netflix.

Toshiba BDK21

Amazon Customer, Amazon
22 March 2013
  • Summary: Got this from Costco for 69.99 and they gave an instant $10.00 rebate so the net cost was $59.99. So the price was right. The quality is fine, nothing spectacular, just okay. The real problem I have is the unit is advertised as WIFI capable (Netflix, Pandora, etc).

Here to help, Amazon
20 March 2013
  • Summary: Do you know what wifi 'capable' means? If not you can and should search the web for this, but I'll help. It means that the product...tv, Blu-ray player, etc CAN be made wireless but isn't already wireless. Just like the 'HD Ready' of 9 years ago.

BDK33 is a flawed, unusable product. Do *not* purchase.

D. Whitney, Amazon
20 March 2013
  • Summary: Toshiba's BDK33 BluRay player is an entry-level model that includes built-in WiFi, support for YouTube, HuluPlus, and CinemaNow. Its $80 price tag (varying by as much as $5 depending upon retail outlet) makes it an attractive alternative for many consumers.

DON'T BUY!

solos, Amazon

  • Summary: This player uses HDCP and is only compatible with other HDCP devices(tv's, receivers). I bought a state of the art home theater system 2 years ago and none of it is HDCP compatible.
