Summary: This unit rocks my house! The sound is excellent. This is a great unit for someone who is looking to add streaming capabilities to their 'dumb' tv. I love the fact that Sony's units are updateable to support new services as they come out.
Summary: For a few hundred bucks, you can't beat this home theater system. It took me about two hours to completely set up this system (including taking out he old components and running wires where they needed to be. I popped in the RUSH - Time Machine Tour Blu-Ray and hit play.

Summary: I bought this as an upgrade to BDV-E3100, thinking it is the same thing with some more goodies and louder sound, but to my disappointment, there was no Bluetooth feature on the device. Your options for streaming music from your phone/laptop are limited to some very unreliable apps.
Summary: Really nice 5.1 sound system. I purchased this last year along with a 50" Sony Bravia TV. Whether watching TV or listening to music, the sound is outstanding. Clear crisp highs and full booming lows. This system makes a movie experience much more enjoyable.
Summary: I was pretty happy with this unit as a basement surround sound blu-ray system. The wireless rear speakers are nice and worked out very well for me. Sound is good, very clean but not overwhelming in the bass department. However, the HDMI output started flickering and eventually there was no output.
Summary: Simple to setup. Sound is sub-par. Not fantastic. Interface is poor. Software is very slow and forgets where it is. After 2 months sound/internal amp started failing. Would have to unplug unit to get it back working. We forgot how evil Sony warranty is. They will put you through the ringer.
Summary: I bought the sony bdvn790w system about a year ago. I used it about 5 or 6 times . maybe played 10 or 12 moveis on it . the player quite working . I contacted sony they did not and wont stand behind the warranty . I also tried to just get the player replaced . they will not sell just the player.
Summary: Very happy with the sound. It is a huge improvement over our old Sony Bravia wireless sound system. Very easy to setup, much easier than the older version. The Netflix button on the remote is a nice touch. Wish the system had more apps.
