Summary: Upgraded from and old LG that bit the dust and I'm very happy with the improvement in sound and picture quality. Was easy to set up and rewire to the receiver. I'm running older Kenwood vr 615 with five homemade lg speakers and the sound improvement was great. Netflix and u tube were easy to navigate although I have heard a bit of static in movie playback on Netflix that sounds like speaker clipping that I've never heard before.
Summary: The only thing I did not like was it came without the chords to plug it in...so...I had to wait until two days later when I could get to the store to buy the HDMI chord I needed...after that though I plugged it in and it worked!!! Only have had a couple of weeks and have only watched 2 movies so far...but so far so good!!!
it is pretty fast. Not like I'm really timing it though ...

Summary: Lives up to it's billing, it is pretty fast. Not like I'm really timing it though but it blows away the older samsung model I have. I would recommend trying to match the player with the same brand of television though. That way you wouldn't have to keep 'both' remotes side by side.
Summary: I have had a ton of problems with Blu-Ray players. Cheap players just don't get it, but higher cost doesn't seem to matter. I have tried several different brands between $50 and $125, but none have remained in service. Even cheap players have all kinds of gewgaws that you may or may not want for Internet connection. Some can be annoying. That said, this Sony player has been doing nicely for several weeks.
