it's too late to return it and it's too light for a paperweigh

Summary: It never worked and the installer said that it needed another part. He was wrong. It didn't need a thing except to work...and it doesn't. So, it's too late to return it and it's too light for a paperweight!
Summary: For 2 hours the blu ray player will not connect to my Sony TV. Finally it turned on after resetting via a phone call with Sony support. But it won't let me choose region 2 even after pressing the blue button with the player off (or on). Complete garbage.
Summary: I replaced by old Philips Region-Free DVD player with this machine in order to play Region Free Blu-Ray discs. It worked beautifully with the first three PAL discs I played that were not Blu-Ray, but absolutely refused to play a Blu-Ray disc marked "Region B.
Summary: Piece of junk, maybe the worst product ever form Sony. Remote is tiny (about 4") and requires a magnifying glass to read. No audio output to supply a home theater. Only an on/ff and open/close buttons.
Summary: Very disappointed with this product. It does not compare well at all to the previous model BDP-S590 of which I have 5 units that operate perfectly. No digital optical output, delivered with no operator's manual, appears much more flimsy.
Summary: This does NOT support 7.1 PCM output via HDMI. I could only get a 2.0 PCM output to my Denon receiver. The onboard 5.1 processing is terrible. Leave the processing to your receiver if it is supported.
Summary: I have two Sony Blu Ray Players, have had one for just over a year (a BDPS3100), then bought a Sony 3D Television so I bought a BDPS 5200 about 4 months ago. Funny Sony asked for my opinion now since last week BOTH players decided to brick themselves for whatever reason.
