Summary: The product works well, I've had no major issues. It froze up once but I was able to turn it off and back on, no problems since. However, it didn't come with the HDE Fiber cloths that it was supposed to come with.
Summary: Works great for intended purpose but if you're looking to use it for other internet-based content I would strongly recommend an Apple TV or Roku over this. Feels kinda cheap but looks good and works well. The internet-based content is very slow and not at all intuitive.
Summary: While this is high-quality product for a very reasonable price - BEWARE. It has Cinavia technology to limit the use of discs which are not encrypted - (e.g. a disc you make from the TV on a DVD recorder.) So while we will watch commercially made discs - all the discs I have collected over the years are useless on this machine. - F.
Just buy it for the player, not the cloth (not-included)

Summary: This Blu-ray player seems pretty good at managing media - both optical disks and online/network media. It works on my home wireless network to provide access to my home PC running as a media server so I can watch movies I own that I have copied to hard drive and shared to make them accessible to the blu-ray player.
Summary: I bought this sony player as it was up against a similarly priced Samsung blu ray player. My sister had a samsung and it was slow and sometimes barely worked and the reviews on this sounded promising. It works well, is fast and rarely has connection problems. Has a lot of cool channels and great picture. Plays both DVDs and Bluray discs with ease and takes up little space. I cannot connect to the sony store, for some reason.
