Excerpt: I was looking for a basic Blu-Ray player that would also provide some internet connectivity in general and Amazon streaming in particular. This play fits the bill perfectly. I read some reviews that complained about the interface - it does seem a little dated at first, but it works fine. I do notice that it is a little slow when loading some internet apps, but overall I'm very happy.
Summary: The BDP-S32 is a good buy for the features. It's small size makes it great to place just about anywhere. Apart from not having analog audio outputs, this player does the same thing and more, than the older player which I replaced with the BDP-S32. Only draw back is that I had to move it around in order to find that perfect spot for strongest reception of the WiFi signal. I did not have that problem with my older Sony player. Regardless, I recommend the BDP-S32.
Pros: Small size makes it easy to place.
Cons: Not too great for WiFi reception. No Analog (RCA) Audio output.
Summary: Works great as a dvd player. Also streams netflix well. It's faster accessing and manuvering through the menus of netflix much faster then my tivo. If your looking for a dvd player with internet streaming also this device works great.
Summary: Didn't really use it that much. Its shape is ridiculous. It has a dome so that you can't place it underneath anything. Originally purchased for its "Smart" features but its built in wifi only supports 2.4gHz, The blu ray player it was to replace is a couple of year old Sony player which works well but doesn't have the smart features. The older model is built like a brick, the new one is very light and very fragile feeling.
Cons: Odd domed shaped makes it impossible to stack. Does not support 5gHz wifi.
