Summary: Moved to the US, bought this DVD/Blu-ray player because of the Multizone feature (having Blu-rays from Europe and buying US Blu-rays). Unfortunately, some of the movies from Europe (Ratatouille) as well as some from the US (Free Birds) simply won't play and the player will display a message saying...
Underwhelming, missed the mark on some key features I expected

Summary: The BDPS3200 was underwhelming in a number of regards. I bought it to replace my Roku and add DVD/Blu-Ray capabilities. While the DVD and Blu-Ray are adequate (this is not a DVD upscaler, so if you'e mostly wanting to watch DVDs on the same screen that Blu-Ray looks good on, choose a model that...
Summary: I have only had this player for one month. Shortly after it arrived it started to freeze. The unit cannot be turned on or off using either the remote or the unit itself. The only way to get it to work again is to unplug.
Summary: D region free play was a big disappoint. It was a real pain to setup. When I called Sony for help I got someone in some country who I could hardly understand. It took 2 hours to get it working. The player is made very cheaply. And it's not inexpensive at $169.00. I wouldn't buy an other Sony product.
Summary: shipped a dvd player to my home for a gift. It arrived with no other packing but the dvd box. The person it was meant for saw it sitting next to the front door in the rain. One side of box was half opened.
Summary: I do not like for the remote to be so small, it is around 4-5 inches long. Also, it was difficult to navigate for me. I noticed that it would take a little too long to start and for Netflix and other icons to come up, and I do not think it was my internet.
Summary: Decent performance marred by a truly horrendous remote. The latter has tiny buttons, and if you accidentally tap the button adjacent to Play you may hit Internet or Home, sending you into a horrible nightmare of restarting the disc and going through the endless legal/studio BS menus yet again.
Summary: I just got my blu ray player today and it came with no instructions/manual and only had one cord to plug in. Nothing to connect to my TV. I have never had issues with refurbished products in the past so I didn't think this would be a problem.
