Summary: For the price, this is an excellent machine! My so-called refurbished purchase is essentially brand new. I subtracted one star because the remote is not laid out very well and I would have liked an analog audio output. But you can't beat the price, and it plays discs flawlessly. When I first hooked this up, I was dismayed to find that I was unable to watch any 4:3 DVDs (i.e. old TV shows and pre-widescreen movies) at the correct aspect ratio.
Summary: This is a great bluray player, we have used it for 3 months with no problems whatsoever. It does what it's supposed to do. But be aware this does not come with all the cords you will need, you will have to purchase an HDMI cable and Coaxial cable.
Summary: I ordered this because my son's wedding video was sent to me as a Blue Ray disc, and did not work on my Sony DVD player, nor Macbook. It arrived in 2 days, packaged in a new box and looked brand new. It was easy to hook up (basically, plug in the power, attach a HDMI cable from the player to your t.v, and that's it!

Summary: Since it plays all my DVDs including the ones from Europe plus MS Movie Maker Videos this one works just fine for me. No problem at all. I like it - a lot. Moreover it's set to work with 220 Volt, i .e. I can take it to Europe, use a power adapter plug and voila it works there too.

Summary: This Blu-Ray player works great, is very good entry level player for Blu-Ray world, no WiFi, just Ethernet, is good for me, nice stuff of apps for streaming video, great remote control design, love it!. For other part, i will advice, i receive a 120 Volts ver. (power voltage) like in the place i live we use 220 Volts, i try first a 220v to 120v converter of 50 Watts of capacity, because in the back of the player a labels says the unit just use 8.8Watts of consumption,...
Summary: Not an expert in sound or operation of a disc player, but not bothered by the time it takes to load. Don't need my movie in 1/10th of a second. Picture is great and sound the same. Mother happy to play her cd's also.
