Summary: I wish i could rate Sony's customer service and tech support with a negative five stars. Very good product i must say, however after reading your manual and following it precisely (if you can understand the manual) you will be calling tech support for help and good luck finding that number! This product is actually a four out of five stars. I gave it one star because Sony does not care about your satisfaction as a customer.
Summary: It's horrible that they don't warn buyers that this is not a WIFI capable unit. No wonder they only give a 30 return policy. Now I can't use it and I can't return it. Horrible company to do business with. Would not buy from them again!!!!!

Summary: Beware, this unit (BDP-S1100) is a low end blu ray which has been altered by "someone". I had purchased this and a basic unit for a friend. My friend's basic S1100 unit came in yesterday, I paid $32 for hers (here on Amazon), My unit, which was this multi region free player which costs 6x the other unit's cost arrived today.. Upon attempting to set up my unit, I saw nothing indicating Sony Region Free..
Summary: I had the player for two weeks when it started making whirring noises. It wouldn't play some of my regular DVDs which was frustrating.... And then a dvd got stuck in it. I returned it and I have to say that the best thing of all was amazons return policy! They were great and even though I had to force the dvd out (it was a rental) they gave me the refund! Go amazon!
