Summary: I bought this unit in December to stream Netflix. I also used the recommended cisco/linksys wireless bridge to connect to my wifi N network. Everything works fine, ALMOST. I consistently get a DRM-1 error when trying to stream Netflix. I am running the latest firmware (Dec 22). I reported this to Sony who escalated it to their Engineering group in late December. They indicated it was a firmware problem.
Summary: I probably just got a lemon, and Amazon says they will give me a refund because my unit was defective, so two points: (1) I am impressed with Amazon customer service so far (and will be even happier once the refund process is completed); and (2) because my unit was defective, and because Sony made no bones about the fact that it was defective, the reader should take this review with a grain of salt because, for all I know, a non-defective unit would function perfectly.
Very poor Netflix performance; overall disappontment for the first year. Turn off CineMotion to remedy.

Summary: I've had this player for several days now. Blu-Ray playback appears to be good, although I don't really have anything to compare it to. But so far its other attributes leave a great deal to be desired. Netflix playback is especially poor. I waited to buy this unit for its Netflix capability to kick in, and was using the Roku HD player in the meantime.
