Summary: My Sony 52" TV is awesome, toss in a theater system and this baby and I had to move the furniture to make room for all the actors in the house! It's almost 3-D from any distance and any angle. Beautiful picture, vivid and sharp as a razor. I'm lovin' the blu-ray way. Played "Avatar" and the display nearly brought tears to my eyes, so amazing. That is a great movie for testing the the blu-ray difference.
Summary: We are thrilled with this product. Easy to operate and handles old movies with the clarity of the newer releases. Communicates with our new Samsung TV like they are best friends!!! Have tried another Blu ray from a competitor and had to return it, will not mention the company, but the Sony folks did a great job on this one!
Summary: This was an early Father's Day gift for my husband. He was pleasantly surprised that I researched many Blu-Ray players and choose this one based on the Spec's. The clairty of the picture and the sound was amazing. It apparently enhanced our existing flat screen TV and our home theater system.
Summary: I purchased this Blu-ray player 6 weeks ago. It has been fine until now having a good quality output. It does start rather slowly and does not have an eject button on the remote. Minor annoyances. It also makes the center of a BD rather hot after playing it but Sony thinks that is Ok since the fan in the back will come on when it is suppose to. Hmmm. A problem started 2 nights ago when it would freeze/stop in the middle of playing a BD.
Summary: I purchased the Sony BDP-N460 primarily to watch Netflix and DVDs. Added the Linksys by Cisco WET610N Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge with Dual-Band Wi-Fi to access Netflix, Amazon on Demand, Youtube, etc. In order to setup Netflix access I had to login to Netflix and add the Bluray device to my account. Setup of the cisco wireless bridge was quick and easy.
Excellent performance overall - very happy with Netflix streaming

Summary: I bought this player last December to replace my aging, home-built Media Center pc (primarily used for DVD watching and Netflix streaming) and to finally upgrade to blue-ray. I have not been dissapointed in the least with this unit. Netflix HD content streams just fine and the blue-ray disk loading is fast to other players that I have seen. My neighbor purchased the same unit soon after I did and they too have no complaints about streaming issues with Netflix.
Summary: I've had this player for just about a month and have nothing but good things to say about it. Loading of DVD's seems fast enough for me, and the video quality of Blu-rays and the upscaling of regular DVDs is very good ... and the various control features via the remote control work fine (particularly being able to start up where you left off if you have to stop / and even shut things down in the middle of a movie).
