Summary: I had one of this units that went tango uniform. I purchased a BDP-S1200 as a replacement as the Sony customer service folks posited that it would work well with my Bose Lifestyle 2500. It did not. After weeks of back and forth with the Sony tech support reps, one of whom told me I could connect the BDP-S1200 to the FM antenna jack on the Bose, I shopped for another BDP-X37. Although this particular model is no longer in production, you can find them in shop inventories.
Summary: I'm satisfied with this player. I consider it good value for the money. The Hulu app would be nice, but it does have a slew of other apps, including Netflix. I occasionally listen to Super Audio CDs, so that feature is much appreciated. I've had my unit for over three years without even a hint of a problem.
Pros: fast start/energy saving options, internet apps, compact design, SACD support
Cons: no Hulu app, can't skip to a specific point by entering hh:mm:ss
Great Bluray player if you get the price below $80

Summary: Sony BDP-BX37 Blu-Ray DVD Player & Streaming Internet This Blu-ray player is a considerable improvement to my previous model. I was one of the lucky people to buy into Bluray when it first came on the scene. I was really lucky to find one of the first players put out as a open box item at Bestbuy. It was a Samsung BD-P1000. It was one of the worst bluray players ever. The load times were painfully long and don't get me started on the firmware updates.
