Samy Blu Ray

Criss C. Gunderson "Criss G", Amazon
10 March 2010
  • Summary: great picture, has some funny bugs I can't seem to work around. Wireless connection and commands a little funky, super cool case/body style. Odd DVD loading made finding a location for the unit limiting. From the side, plan in advance for future purchase. Menus could be easier, but ok.

Works for me

Kendall J. Wright "Tech Curmudgeon", Amazon
21 January 2010
  • Summary: The thing does everything it claims it will do. Setup was a breeze, including the wireless setup. It finds the wireless networks it can see, and asks you which one. Assuming you're a smart network user, and have set an encryption key on your home wireless network, you do have to know that...

Samsung BD-P4600 Blu Ray

Mauricio E. Rodriguez "Mouse Rodri", Amazon
21 January 2010
  • Summary: I don't have a lot of time for this - so I will keep it short. The Blu Ray is beautiful, but it does attract a lot of dust and fingerprints need to be wiped off everytime you touch the front of it.

Good Product

ppjhan, PriceGrabber
15 January 2010
  • Summary: I bought this player mainly because of its stylish design and would match perfectly when I get a LED TV, most likely Samsung LED to match TOC style. This player has pretty fast disc loading speed. Setup for network and online streaming is simple.
  • Pros: Design and Styling, Good disc loading, good online streaming.
  • Cons: Menu, Price

Great player, not so user friendly

T. Fannin, Amazon
10 December 2009
  • Summary: This is now my 3rd Blu ray player and I like it the best. I got this player do to the ability to stream netflix movies wireless. After getting it, took me about 30 min to get it up and running. The manual isn't very user friendly. Once I got the wireless connection to work, it was worth it.

Poor pc streaming support

Iqbal Bhinderwala, Amazon
30 July 2009
  • Summary: PC Video streaming support is poor. Will only play divx avi files. Audio streaming requires the TV for navigation. Why is it not possible for it to save the setup and then start streaming with a single click. No remote codes so cant use univsersal remotes. Netflix works great.

(Almost) perfect combo for Blueray and Netflix

Jakman76 "Roadrunner", Amazon
23 July 2009
  • Summary: After a few weeks, I'm quite satisfied with the BD-P4600. I use it together with Samsung 850 series LCD and they match perfectly in style and interaction - but somehow I could not make the LCD turn off with the BD still running audio only.

  • Summary: I have only have this 4600 for a week and it very nice - every thing works fine with fast loading disk, and usb support ! - but I don't understand why samsong cannot make silence product, the fan is to small so it have to work very fast to get air to the device -so you get allot of noise from it.
  • Pros: design, wall maunt
  • Cons: the fan on the device - you can clerly hear it when silence from the movie
