Stylish but with some issues

R. Garrett, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this player to mount on the wall below my Samsung 7000 series tv at Christmas last year. The shell matches the bezel of the tv and looks great. I also have the matching sound bar.

Nice looking but not worth it

  • Summary: Comments about Samsung BD-P4600 Blu-ray Disc Player: This is the nicest looking blu ray player on the market. It has multiple mounting options and a touch interface. Video and audio quality are great. Having said that... Trying to scan through scenes is slow.
  • Pros: Backwards Compatible, Good Connections, Good Soundtrack Support
  • Cons: Slow Load Time

great set of features, but unreliable

Phillip M. Feldman, Amazon

  • Summary: The first one of these units that I got worked fine for about a week; then, some functions suddenly stopped working. (Another reviewer reported that her unit died completely after about a week, so it seems as though reliability problems are more common than they should be).

review of samsung bd-p4600 blue ray player

Gerryatri..., Ciao
25 June 2009
  • Excerpt: I bought the new samsung blue ray disc player for two hundred pounds and i have to say it looks fantastic. its extremely thin, lightweight and looks really slick. the control buttons on the unit itself are more like touch screen buttons that regular ones which does make me worry about repair costs...
  • Pros: great look, lightweight wall mounted or free standing
  • Cons: remote controll very bland doesnt really match the player itself
