Summary: very sleek, worked well for 2 years and then stopped working. would freeze for DVD's and skip all over the place. The warranty expired and fixing it would cost more than a new one. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

Summary: we've had the player for a year now and have had off-and-on problems with it recognizing dvd and blu ray disks and occasionally problems with streaming. now the player will not recognize ANY blu ray disks at all.
Summary: this model of Samsung only look cool but does not work well functionality. I have consistent problem with Blu-ray player. It does not play most of the disks. I got really frustrated with this product. I would suggest to buy something which more functionality even it does not look cool.
Summary: This Samsung Bluray player does a lot of things. I mean you have Netflix, Blockbuster, Pandora and YouTube. It plays DVD's CD's and you can even connect wirelessly to your PC and play your music files. One thing is missing..... It does not play Bluray. I'm talking straight out of the box.
Summary: I bought this player thinking it was a high end, well-reviewed player. However, upon receipt of the item, it would not play disks and continuously made beeping noises. I updated the firmware to the latest version and then it would play for 2 minutes and then revert to the beginning.

Summary: UPDATE AS OF 4/19/2011: This unit spontaneously stopped recognizing BluRay disks a couple of days ago. No firmware update; it just decided it had had enough. This unit is about one year and three months old (or in Samsung terms 3 months PW - PAST WARRANTY). How convenient for Samsung.
Summary: I really liked this player after we got it. It played all of my discs, read .divx off the NAS(or USB thumb-drives), streamed Netflix and Pandora. Wonderful player. Then after about 2 months of operation the auto-firmware update made it crash. Then all it said was "Load".
Summary: I bought the sexy thin LED TV, soundbar and this blu ray player after a lot of research. I wish I had believed the bad reviews for the blu ray that I saw on Amazon. Remember - this is a wall mounted unit so if it's installed and doesn't work you have a hole in the wall with wires hanging out to deal...
Summary: I purchased this unit with a Samsung LED TV (7100 series). I immediately noticed a lip sync issue - audio is not synchronized with the video. I am using a direct connection via HDMI. Then I discovered this is a documented problem, just do a google search and see for yourself.
Good visual quality marred by unreliable behavior ...buy Oppo instead...

Summary: This is the last Samsung blu-ray product I will buy. On the plus-side, it is a good looking deck, and the visual quality (when it works) is very good. However, my experience was very unsatisfying--it would freeze intermittently and seemingly at random even with newly purchased (vs.
