Summary: I've owned this player for about 18 months now. Initial setup was tricky because my wireless modem is too far away from the living room to provide a nice stream for videos. Although my PC's worked just fine in the living room, the intense video streaming required of the blu-ray with PC's operating...
Summary: After months of researching blu-ray players. I finally settled on the Samsung BD-P3600. After reading some of the reviews I was a little leary and unsure of my purchase after bringing it home. I am glad it worked out and I feel comfortable recommending this player to my friends and family.
Summary: I bought the BD-P3600 after researching the units extensively and subscribing to Netflix. The value is terrific, especially since it includes the wireless LAN adapter. The set-up was quick and easy and the connection to the internet through my 802.11n wireless router has been solid, reliable and...
Summary: I can't imagine how any could find fault with this Blu-ray player. I unboxed it, I attached the old HDMI cable from my previous DVD player, it worked. Total time investment at this point was about 15 minutes.
Summary: I did an enormous amount of research over the past year--yes year--before purchasing the Samsung BD-P3600. I have no complaints whatsoever. In fact, I have nothing but high praise. I have been a PC user since the Tandy/Apple II-Mac 1970s, but claim no expertise beyond high-intermediate skills, and I...
Summary: I can't say enough how great this machine just works. I have tried other players, and while they might have a clean picture as well, this one is definitely noticeably better. It just runs very smooth, and faster than I would have thought with all of the technology crammed in its innards!
Pros: Excellent picture quality for Blu-ray, upconversion for regular DVD's is cleaner than older "upconverters", many options for specific settings, WiFi connection is flawless, extras work well, sleek
Cons: Not slot loaded (like the 4600 model) but definitely not a deal breaker!
Summary: After reading reviews of the Samsung BD-P3600 I purchased one. It produces a magnificent picture with both BluRay and DVDs. I project my images onto a projection screen that is 120 inches in diameter (92 inches wide by 69 inches high) using a Panasonic AE4000u LCD projector.
Summary: Pros: *Wireless Connectivity *Netflix Option *PC streaming *Automatic firmware updates *BD Live 2.0 *It also connects to Pandora Radio, Blockbuster and YouTube. Cons: *The remote has small playback buttons *The remote is not backlit I had the BD-P3600 for a month and so far I'm very happy with it.
Summary: Updated: I've had this player for about six months now. The 24p function is nearly useless, but if normal 1080p is good enough for you, or you watch a lot of NetFlix and YouTube or listen to Pandora a lot, this might be a good choice for you at the right price.
Summary: I bought it at Best Buy on sale 225.00 plus 10 % off. Had a little trouble getting started but finally managed through it. Firmware took 10 mins to download through WIFI. Netflix works really good with this unit. All of my house is wireless and this unit works just fine.
