Excerpt: I really love this bluray player, and being able to stream Netflix and Pandora right from the player. The only thing is that a lot of the times when I am trying to stream Netflix, either the sound doesnt work or the next time the picture won't work and I have to keep rebooting the bluray player and my whole tv system to try it over again. I have upgraded the firmware multiple times and it keeps doing this.
Excerpt: I recently purchased this player after looking at several different ones. It works great for the most part. I have noticed a few issues with the wireless connection sometimes having trouble connecting, and also there a few time it has gotten stuck on some blu-ray's disc menus and would not allow me to select anything. I have to restart the unit. Overall even though this little hiccups have happened I do still really like the player.
Samsung - BD-P3600 Blu-Ray Player works like a charm

Excerpt: I am very satisfied with this player. It does a beautiful job of playing Blu-Ray disks and the image is immaculate as is the audio (the primary reason for buying any player). Netflix streaming is great (it also streams in HD where the content is available - much nicer than the image on a PC). I also love the Pandora internet radio and the ability to stream videos on youtube. I had no trouble connecting to my network. It was very easy.
Excerpt: This is a great Blu-Ray Player! When we decided to make the leap from DVDs to Blu-Rays there were several things that were important to us, but the biggest thing was the ability to have the streaming capability from Netflix and other online sites. We tend to watch a lot of tv and movies from the streaming sites so we needed one that could do that quickly. We had also heard horror stories about Blu-Ray players taking a long time to load. When the player arrived I was...
Excerpt: Amazing! I can't say enough about this Samsung DVD player! It was not difficult at all to hook up the wireless and connect to the various services available for streaming. The on screen menu walks you right through it. Whether it be a dvd, blu-ray dvd or watching netflix the picture is incredible! I didn't even realize that there would be such a difference in picture compared to my old (original) dvd player and roku box. The picture quality is off the charts!
Summary: READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE WARRANTY BEFORE YOU PURCHASE! AND, IF A PRODUCT SO MUCH AS SQUEAKS, RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY! We were complete idiots to buy this Blu-Ray Player! The warranty is THREE MONTHS ON LABOR AND ONE YEAR ON PARTS! We purchased a Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-Ray Player in December and within the first month or so, it would pixilate when you fast-forwarded DVD's or Blu-Ray discs to get past the movie previews. We thought it was an issue with the discs!
Pros: Wireless Streaming - Netflix & Pandora Are Great
Cons: 3 Month Warranty on Labor. Main Board Failed After 5 Months. Need to push handheld control multiple times to operate unit (open & close disc tray), fast forward, pause, etc.)
Summary: This unit came to me in a box with two tiny pieces of foam that weren't protecting the player but floating around the box. Also floating around the box was a couple of packing bubbles and THE PLAYER ITSELF. The player came to me "refurbished" but looked like it had just been pulled out of a teenager's play room. There were scratches and a white sticky/chalky substance all over it. I didn't even bother taking it home from my office.
Excerpt: I have had this Blu Ray for a while, and love the picture quality of DVDs but especially Blu Ray disks on it. I have also used it to stream television shows and movies from Netflix, and it worked wonderfully. It is very nice to have the Smart Hub system that has the home page for the Apps and everything. There are also a lot of sharing capabilities through the Blu Ray.
Summary: In concept, this is a monster machine. Streaming Netflix, Youtube, Pandora, Blockbuster (with the ability to rent and purchase movies that can store on the hard drive), along with Blu-Ray DVD is a portal to television for the 21st century. But... The unit arrived and, when plugged in, didn't have a working menu. The unit was sent to Samsung for repair and came back with a working menu but... The tray door doesn't open. This is a disaster.
