  • Summary: I didn't need a new player . I waited till the price for the blu - ray player came down . Well the price is right ! And I'm impressed with everything from the controls to the options . The picture is sharper than my DVD player . Excellent product !

  • Summary: Does everything I ask of it and has smart features to boot - go Netflix! The compact size was required for my entertainment center. I specifically prefer to have a network cable internet connection to my router for reliable speed and signal quality (others may need wifi because of distance or configuration).

Well satisfied

  • Excerpt: This Samsung was a replacement for another top selling brand which failed mechanically within 30 days, so I thought I'd try another brand. The Samsung appears better (sturdier) constructed, comes with a more detailed manual. So far it's a winner.

Does the Trick - No Wireless Connection for Apps

jamoreno42, Amazon

  • Summary: Simple and does the trick if you need a bluray player. Keep in mind that it will not connect to the internet wirelessly. It will need to be plugged in to an ethernet port on your router. If you don't have a router nearby to where you want to place the unit, a good fix that I use is the Netgear Powerline 500 +Wifi which turns your outlet into a high speed internet connection. The player works great with my Vizio, playback is clear and the unit runs quiet. Good purchase.

  • Summary: understand, i have had it on for only 3 days, so far so good. a year from now who knows? set-up was straight forward and was using the player within half an hour after getting it out of the box. i have a samsung smart tv so maybe set-up was easier. i didn't find a warranty card in the box, so was i supposed to have one? maybe i need to call walmart and see. it would be a good test of their customer service, maybe.
