Samsung bluray BD F7500

Anonymous, Crutchfield
15 April 2015
  • Summary: Set up was easy and fast. Found and connected to WiFi immediately. App loading could be faster. I needed a device to connect to a pre-HDMI Denon receiver so the optical audio output was needed. But I had to by-pass the video thru the receiver and went directly to the monitor.
  • Pros: Easy setup and hookup
  • Cons: App loading and Internet browsing not speedy by today's standards.

Good Value

Nobody Knows, Crutchfield
17 March 2015
  • Summary: My Oppo BDP-83 failed and I needed a Blu-ray player that can output analogue audio via RCA jacks and mix-down the audio fro 5.1 and 7.1 to 2 channel stereo within the player, and with DVD upscaling. The Samsung fit the bill.
  • Pros: Inexpensive, but all the key features are available Wireless set-up was straightforward-no problems Very fast Blu-ray loading and DVD loading, compared to my admittedly 6-year old Oppo BDP-83 DVD upscaling is as good as my 6-year old Oppo BDP-83, which was state of the art at the time It has ster...
  • Cons: Unlighted remote with very small, closely-spaced buttons Lack of ability to use iPod touch as a remote - which would avoid the need to use the remote. Very light, so the player can slip and slide with a slight push on one of its sides Recognize that the display is minimal - but for most people th...

  • Summary: I purchased this as a compliment to my 75" Samsung and Bose Cinemate sound system. I could not have made a better choice. Integration was easy along with setup. Trained the remotes and all is good. The online menu is easy to navigate and not sure what else to say..

good player

happy with purchase, Crutchfield
13 January 2015
  • Summary: This player has two HDMI outs. One for sound only. This is good for my older receiver. It has dual N router. Pretty fast. It outputs 4k. Looks great on 4k TV. If it had 3D it would have earned the extra star. I have an older Samsung 3D player. It has a problem with the front display.
  • Pros: 2 HDMI outs. dual N WiFi. 4k upscale.
  • Cons: no 3D output.
