Summary: I just hooked it up a week ago but I have used it several times already and like the small size and the wifi hookup. It was easy to install. The only thing I don't like is the control are on top and I have it in a small space and its hard to see them or remember what does what since I can't see the controls. Other than that I would highly recommend this unit.
Summary: The BD-5700 is a great player.. It has a very small footprint, but packs a lot of features. I particularly like it's wi-if capability and picture quality. It loads very fast and the picture is brilliantly clear. We use it for Netflix and also streaming our pictures and music from our home computer. Very pleased with the purchase!
Summary: I had a first gen Samsung Blu-ray player and it never really seemed to update correctly. This new much cheaper version is excellent. I never have read errors or disk rejects. It also has Netflix and HULU etc. Very nice product and I would recommend to anyone looking for a inexpensive Blu-ray player.
Summary: This unit does exactly what it's supposed to do. It plays Blu-rays, DVDs and has wireless internet connectability for online streaming movies and access to a laptop or PC. The one drawback (a minor one unless you are an impatient person) is that it is slow responding after you press a button on the remote. It takes a few seconds before the function appears on the TV screen. Otherwise, a nice, basic Blu-ray player.
Summary: I bought this Blu-Ray for the DLNA features. Unfortunately they have serious problem. When playing video through DLNA (mkv or mp4 format) you cannot fast-forward. I tried in on several different titles. Either you what the entire video every single time or you don't get to see a particular part near the end, ever. Not so useful for finding a particular family event on a home video.
