Netflix Does Not Work Properly (same as my Samsung TV)
Amazon Customer, Amazon

Summary: I have the latest firmware and spent an hour with Samsung Customer support, they cannot get Netflix to work. They claim it is a known issue with their server and it will be fixed in 24 hours. Issue has been escalated to tier 2. Technical support is weak. I will update this if they are able to fix the issue. Other then the Netflix it is a very good player (4.5 stars). However if Netfix is important to you, I only give it two stars. UPDATE Netflix is now working.
Summary: My overall opinion with this player is that it's not worth the money. I bought this at a local store and set it up immediately when I got home. Once starting it, there were multiple software updates which took a good 15 - 20 minutes. The simple set-up is easy and quick. The reaction time when pushing a button on the remote to the player to select something is incredibly slow and really got on my nerves. This player has the option of wireless or Ethernet hook up.
A blu-ray player should play well (this does) but play well with others too (not so much)

Summary: For reference, I'm an audiophile, a techy guy, a software engineer, and very competent when it comes to electronics. I bought this device to get internet-capable features like Netflix and Hulu onto a "dumb" LCD TV. I bought THIS player because it's wireless and because I already had a Samsung TV (which I love) in a different room . Here are my primary gripes: Samsung and AllShare - Boo. DLNA is a standard shared by many OEMs. My Yamaha receiver works great with DLNA.
Summary: I have 2 different 3d blue ray players. One I love the other I do not. This one I do not and here is why: The good: This unit plays 3d blue ray disks as it should. Video quality is very good. The unit is small and compact, allowing it to fit just about anywhere. The bad: Painfully slow when switching between apps. Terrible ram capabilities causing videos to stop when streaming from the internet. The virtual text keypad is so slow, it makes me want to scream!
Summary: I guess as a Blu Ray player this is fine, but you can find better and cheaper options. If you bought this or any other Samsung players for the disc 2 digital feature you are going to be sorely disappointed. Samsung have now removed any mention of Disc 2 Digital from their advertising. The "feature" on the machine now gives you basic instructions on how to drive to Walmart to have your movies added to Vudu.
