Summary: I bought this Blu-ray player because I wanted to play Blu-ray movies and wanted access to Netflix, so no problems there; whatever other features I got was gravy. Having said that, while using the front-mounted USB port to display photos works perfectly, the ability to use it to play video clips doesn't work at all, and tech support says it can't be fixed with software updates; I got a lemon there.
Summary: We had problems with it not working at first so we contacted the vendor. They were polite and tried to be helpful. My husband ended up figuring out what was wrong on his own, but at least they were nice. It seems to work fine now.
Summary: The best that I can say is that 'it works.' The player is slow on loading and slow in just about every other facet of its operation. The controller itself ... why does it have to be so complex that you have to actually read the manual? Since I don't use Wi-Fi for playing probably half of the control options, if they are Wi-Fi related, are useless to me. If there are other uses of the controls like opening a can of peaches, well, those are useless to me also.
Summary: The player was easy to install and displays properly however, it does NOT remember where in a movie it was. Specifically, if you are watching a movie, stop and turn it off (to finish it later), when you turn it back on, it starts at the very beginning of the DVD: ie with the FBI warning. I have gotten these same results with many different DVDs so it is not a DVD problem.
Summary: It is what it is. Its a regular blu ray player that has a few apps to connect to. I thought that it was wireless and was extremely disappointed that it wasn't. And the apps are extremely limited; Netflix, Pandora, youtube, vudu and cinemanow. I do use Netflix and have had no problems with connections, speeds or anything else. It was plug n play instantly right of the box in less than 10 min start to finish with zero issues.
Summary: For the price this is an okay player. Insert disk and it plays. Number one issue is that the if you don't have time to finish watching your movie you have to note the chapter you stopped at because this player does not remember.
Summary: I bought this unit mostly to play video files streamed from my PC, and the occasional blu-ray or DVD. I've had a PS3 for a few years and it works great for this purpose. I used to lug it from room to room depending on where I wanted to watch, but got tired of that. Wanted another blu-ray player that would do the job for a fraction of the cost of another PS3.

Summary: I mainly bought this item, to play converted HD movies off a USB HD...it does play them....but after a while the movie you watch...the audio & video goes out of sync....say between 30 - 60 mins of watching a movie(i tested movies out on another bluray player with usb port, no a/v sync problems with any movies i had on my hd)...I tested it with a bluray(the last harry potter part 2 bluray movie), it played it fine...but the a/v sync on USB HD is a big problem...
