Summary: There's a very annoying delay between the remote and the response of the player, so much so that a lot of times I'll hit the button on the remote for a second time thinking that I didn't press it all the way down the first time only to have it then register both at the same time and respond to both button presses. The netflix is nice when it works, but it routinely will not load.
Summary: I purchased this to have a method to get to Netflix. Well it locks up while playing Netflix, probably locks up with everything. Had to repower and start over. I complained to Amazon feedback, and they indicated the unit could be returned... well DealStop, stopped the deal, so don't deal with them... I'm stuck with a bad unit... you could be next... and don't get the Samsung Blu-ray 'cause it doesn't work...
Summary: It works pretty decent if you just watch Blu Ray discs. Everything else about this player is horrible. Lets starts worth the fact that it is SLOW!!! Navigating the menus is painful. There is also a very annoying sound that plays on start up. That wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't painfully loud, regardless of the sound level on the TV. And don't even attempt to watch Netflix on it. I use my PS3 on another TV to watch Netflix and love it.
Summary: Got it on Feb 4th and it died on May 18th. The first sign of trouble was it freezing during "Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter". It wouldn't respond to any buttons either on the face of the unit or the remote. I needed to pull the power code to reset it. After that it would sometimes boot normally and other times boot into a blank screen where only some of the buttons had any effect. Now on May 20, it appears to only ever boot into a blank screen.
Summary: I bought this to use with netflix in my bedroom. The netflix menu is very limited. Now let talk about the constant Freezing and requires a reboot to get the thing to work. I can't watch any netflix programs because it will just lock up the player until you power it off and back on. Only to have it lock up again. Utter crap and there are no updates to fix this.
Summary: The only reason I purchased this product was for the Netflix streaming option, which does not work. I purchased this product a few months ago (Oct 2012) and during the first couple months had a few problems with streaming movies freezing within the first few minutes of the movie. But recently (Jan/Feb 2013) it will not play any Netflix streaming movies. Another issue I have is that its not wireless.
Summary: I purchased the Samsnung BD-E5200 blu-ray player so I could watch movies on my new TV. The first machine I got would not even allow me set it up. It gave me a black screen and wouldn't respond to anything. I took it back to the store. The second machine I got played DVD movies just fine. It would not play Blu-Ray discs. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
Summary: My husband and are completely disappointed with Samsung and this Blu-ray player. We purchased this in August and have literally thrown it in the trash in less than 6 months. The Blu-ray portion stopped working just a few months after purchase. We spent hours trouble-shooting from updating the software, checking the connections, etc. We then called customer support who had us do everything we spent hours doing the day before with no luck.
