Summary: Like so many other consumers of this product, I, too, am now looking at a $250 boat anchor. This will be my last Samsung product. PERIOD. And I will dissuade everyone I know: Don't Buy Samsung Electronics. All told, I have an unserviceable and dangerous microwave from Samsung that will START running after the door is opened, a Samsung HD TV that won't retain any of its programming and will discard saved favorite channels altogether, and now a BD-D7500 that won't play.
Summary: I bought this player 2011, I loved it but it quit working and I tried everything to get it fixed or replaced but it was too late. Now I read all of these reviews of how defective they are and I think that Samsung should reimburse all the consumers of these players. I have bought several Samsung appliances and players and T.V.'s I am happy for the most part but now after about 2 years my other Blu-ray players are quitting. What is up with this problem?
Summary: Why can't I give 0 stars?! Customer support is not helpful. This DVD player does not read DVD's. What more needs to be said? I am starting to think that Samsung issues software updates in order to cause a malfunction so that you need to buy a new one. Do not buy!!!
Summary: Wall-mountable, thin, gorgeous design. It looks great, but the awesome ends there. This has to be the worst piece of electronics I've ever purchased. The software is unreliable as all hell over wi-fi, with crashes on a nearly daily basis (firmware is up-to-date). Hangs periodically even over ethernet. The apps interface is incredibly slow and clumsily designed, the apps are terrible (seriously, they're all html kludges).
Summary: I purchased this item thinking Samsung is the best so it was a no brained. After a month or two watching movies of and on it stopped reading disc. I called Samsung they had me do the retain procedures resetting, changing disc and more none worked. They had me send it off for repairs. I get the item a week or so later and again it works for a few months and stops again, unable to read disc please check disc for dirt or yadi yadi ya.

Summary: Our first disc player didn't work right out of the box. I guess I should have stopped right there and looked at other brands, but instead exchanged it for a refurbished one, naively believing that whatever problem it had was already fixed. This second player died three months and one week later, one week after its warranty expired. By Samsung's indifferent customer support I was informed that my only option at this point would be to pay for shipping and repair.
Summary: This product is a joke. I tried out TWO different ones. It won't even play DVD's, let alone any blue ray discs. Customer service's only answer is that you should update the player. We did, twice, and it only played 1 out of 4 of our Blue Ray discs, and no DVDs. Do NOT purchase, you will be VERY disappointed.
