Have to restart it over and over again to get it to play DVDs
9 June 2013
Summary: Purchased this device in 2012. It's a little less than a year old and I have to restart the device over and over to get it to play. It just sits at the loading screen. I was given instructions to reset the device, but it made no difference. Time to move on.
Summary: Great little player, used both wireless and wired internet connections decent video and audio quality. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to have any buffer memory for the network video clients. When the weather gets wet the connection quality sometimes suffers and that makes streaming through the DVD a little suspect.
Summary: I've had the Blu-ray player for a little over a year. Overall I would rate it good. The abiilty to read all disks not matter what condition is good. It was a little expensive and the only drawback is that loading is slow. I believe this model is out dated so I wouldn't recommend it at this time.
Like many others...problems after warranty and software updates. Purchased 2 units from Electronics Expo

Summary: After about 1 year of running fine, both Samsung BD-D6700 units started exhibiting major problems after software updates from Internet. Unit#1 - Wireless no longer works (keeps returning to main menu when trying to scan for available access points. Only the ethernet port works to connnect smart hub Unit#2 - No longer reads discs both DVD and Bluray. Reboots by itself.
Summary: This dvd player has outperformed all others I have and I have 5 of em. It is great at updates and also has great video and dvd format. It clearly works well with my other samsung devices and is easy to setup by it self. all smart features works well..
