Summary: I bought this player mainly because of the price and so I had a compatible remote for my Samsung TV. I expressly sought an inexpensive player because it seems stupid to put up with the hassles and poor performance of wireless.
Summary: I bought the BD-D5500 Blu Ray player as part of a package promotion when buying a Samsung TV. This player is blu-ray, 3D, wi-fi ready, apps, and all this new great stuff. However, my maybe 5-6 year old basic (like, really basic model) DVD player had the ability to remember where I was on a DVD when...
Summary: I purchased this primarily for a third TV which had no Netflix access. This player constantly looses its code for connecting to Netflix and I have to go online and enter a new code to activate the player for my account. The newer software is better than the software which came with the player.

Summary: Looked to work well enough, easy to set up and connect to network. Updated itself, but no LoveFilm app. Checked with Amazon and it turns out there is no LoveFilm app, so unfortunately it had to be returned, since this was at least as important to me as the disc player.
Summary: I'm pleased with the player particularly for the amazing price but I am becoming extremely frustrated at the lack of the Lovefilm App' which was just about my main reason for buying this model.

Summary: I bought this for a couple of reasons - wifi and lovefilm - well, just because it says "Built in WiFi" doesn't apparently mean it has to actually include wifi, built in or not So far I've tripped over the network cable twice whilst going between pc and player to see if lovefilm support works.
