Summary: Wish I had never bought this. Frequently when playing Bluray discs, about 3/4 to 4/5 of the way in, the audio turns off. Multiple titles, so I doubt it is the disc. Have to turn the player off, back on, wait for the trailers you can't skip to finish again, and jump to the chapter I was at.
Summary: The player looks great and works okay. It just takes FOREVER to load a disk... Sometimes it takes twice as along as forever and it gets frustrating. I don't know why it takes so long once the disk is in for it to pull of the menu.
Summary: Upon opening the packaging, it was obvious that the retractable door covering the disk tray was broken. In attempting to get the unit replaced, I find that I have to ship the broken unit back, wait two days after receipt for a refund, and can't simply have the units swapped out. This SUCKS!!
Summary: This product requires a Wireless LAN Adapter that is not included with the product. Ordering the product online is not easy and you may spend 10 minutes on the phone to purchase this additional $61 item.
Summary: I like Samsung, and normally love their products. If all you want is a Bluray player and don't care about the other features, it's probably fine. I bought this unit for it's internet ready features and found them sorely lacking. So much so I returned the unit.
Summary: For under $100 this player works great. I mainly use this player to watch movies and have not used any of the online apps yet because most of this content is repetitive to what is offered on my TV and Apple TV.
Summary: The Amazon description incorrection states: "Wi-Fi-ready - The BD-D5300 features an Ethernet port for a wired connection to your home broadband network, but if you'd like to go wireless you can add a Samsung wireless adapter and enjoy connectivity free of cables--great for those whose Blu-ray will...
