Summary: I went from a SONY BD player that was expensive, extremely slow, and would not play 75% of the discs after many firmware updates. This thing boots up in 10-15 sec. So far it has played everything and that includes computer created DVDs or CDs with pictures, or stuff from my USB drive. I am watching yoga videos from my USB drive on this device. I mean... Really? It also goes on the internet with the wifi. It took me a total of 2 min to set this thing up.
Summary: BD-C7900 works perfectly with my HD Samsung TV set producing,in my opinion, very good picture and sound. These applications included with it that I am using are mostly easy in use, but Samsung, as far as I know, does not really have any good help on them. Unexpected positive surprise is USB port. In spite what is stated in the manual it can be used with at least Free Agent Go external hard drive and probaby other good external HD.
Summary: Ordered product from Amazon and it arrived timely. Set up--using Amazons high speed HDMI cable--and was amazed as product automatically connected with my wireless system, downloaded updates, and was ready to go. Did have some issue connecting with Netflicx--no fault of Samsung--and had to contact Samsung (as well as netflix); I was expecting a long hold time for support from Samsung which ended up being less than 30 seconds. Impressive!
Summary: I was very happy with how fast I got it. After a month of use I'm very impressed with how fast it loads movies I love the 3D capability movies look great on my 46in Samsung tv I recommend this Blue Ray Player to anybody.
Summary: So far I love it. 10x better than the Sony it replaces. Quick start-up & wiireless internet links are excellent. Video & sound quality very good. Nice to to be able to directly take advantage of Netflix Watch Instantly through the player. Setup was easy.
Summary: Ordered this from Amazon with the 3d tv. It works very well, opening and closing easily, which I appreciate, with the wave of the hand. Blu ray is awesome. I had previously ordered the next step down, but after reading the reviews, changed the order to this one. I think it is top of the line, and it seems so!
Summary: I was upgrading my sound system and decided it was also time to upgrade my Bluray. I do not have a 3d TV as I do not feel the tech is "ready for prime time". I payed a lot of money to have eye surgury so I would not need glasses to watch movies. I DO think that the TV tech will move along quickly and wanted to future proof (as much as you are ever able) my Bluray. I wanted wireless connectivity built in. This unit fulfilled all my needs.
Summary: I got this blu ray player a couple of weeks ago, and thought I should chime in. I got it for its two Hdmi outputs. I was also considering the Panasonic DMP-BDT300 because it also has two hdmi outputs, but I was dissuaded by repeated reports of audio/video drops and, related hdmi handshake problems. This player, however, has performed like a champ since I got it on both audio and video fronts.
Summary: Pros : * Fast Loading time * Best optical lens * consistency in playing back or reading different file types and disc types * Feature rich internet entertainment The Samsung BD-C7900 has a fast boot up and disc load time .Skipping between BD menu options was smooth not to mention the good picture quality. It has ( also the BD-C6900) the best optical lens compared to other competitors like LG and Sony.
