Excerpt: very nice blu ray player. thin design so it fits in my bookcase well. nice matt black finish. pretty fast load time. very good picture and has rca jacks for 7.1 sound over an older av receiver. it really optimizes regular dvds so your older dvd's (which i have quite a collection) can still be played and will look even better! samsung has put out numerous firmware updates and you can do the over the internet so no need for ubs flashdrive.
Excerpt: This unit is extremely easy to use and provides an excellent picture. I especially like the touch symbols on the front of the unit. I have it on the bottom shelf of the glass tv stand and because the symbols light up they are easy to see and use. I am very pleased with the picture quality.
Excerpt: This is a wonderful product if you are looking for a good quality 3d player at and affordable rate. It has any attachments that you would get with more expensiive brands, but for much less of a price. Reviewer is an employee or otherwise affiliated with the brand.
Excerpt: After purchasing a Samsung 3D LED television, we needed to purchase a 3D Blu-ray player to go with it. We decided on this model and are so happy with the purchase! The control buttons on the front of the unit are touch sensitive and do not actually have to be pushed or depressed to be activated. It looks very sleak and has a great display. This model is easy enough for my 4 year old son to use without much assistance.
Excerpt: I purchased this blu-ray player on Black Friday due to a great sale that was going on. I went to buy the 5500 model, but the 5500 was not on sale, and this one was on sale for only $10 more. Therefore, I went ahead and purchased the 6500 thinking it wouldn't make much of a difference but figured it was worth the $10. However, I am very happy I purchased the more advanced model because the wi-fi really is useful.
Excerpt: This is the first blu-ray player I have purchased. I have been very happy with it. I bought it for a great price aroung Christmas time and was very happy that I spent a little extra to have the wi-fi built in. I had first purchased a "wi-fi ready" blu-ray player and then realized that I would need to buy the adapter for about seventy dollars.
Excerpt: I have been looking for a nice fairly priced Blu-Ray for a few years now and I ran into this device. I had done my research prior to actually making the purchase and had decided that it was best to have a Blu-Ray 1080p that had a bulit in adapter, because I do a lot of streaming from Netflix and had been doing it through my Wii console.
Excerpt: We are thrilled with our new blu-ray player. My family has always purchased Samsung products because they seem to last the longest, and come with the very best features. After searching through our options for blu-ray players, we decided on this Samsung model. We love that it has the wireless adapter built in, so there was no extra equipment to purchase, and no extra step involved for setup.
Excerpt: For hi-def movie viewing, Blu-ray is the current standard. This player does a great job of displaying blu-ray and is relatively easy to set up and operated. (Don't expect fast loading speed from any blu-ray device: they are all slow compared to dvd yet this unit is faster than most.) Also, unless you have a good standalone device for internet streaming/access, you are going to appreciate the 6500 in that respect.
Excerpt: I got this blu-ray player for Christmas this year after doing much research and comparing other players. Compared to other players at the same price point of the Samsung BD-c6500, this player has a ton more built in features than players from LG or Sony. The Samsung BD-c6500 has built in wireless connectivity which others only have wireless capability where you have to buy a wireless adapter.
