Summary: It worked but was flakey at best. I ended up replacing it with a Panasonic model. This really is the only Samsung device I've owned that I wasn't impressed with. All my other Samsung items have been great so I guess one mediocre one isn't unheard of. It just had issues sometimes loading bluray discs and more frequently loading DVDs. It would start to load the disc and then just hang up requiring it to be turned off and back on.
Summary: I have to reboot the machine to get it to recognize a movie. I use to think it was the CD but I kept trying and once I turned the player off and back on it would read the CD. Very frustrating.

Summary: I love this device as a whole and mainly because the hardware looks and works awesome. I havn't had any problems with the player itself or the remote which automatically works perfectly with my new samsung smart tv! As usual, the software and the user interface could use a bit of refining. The biggest negative I found with this device is the lack of ability to connect to wifi, that's right it must be hard wired with an ethernet cable.
Summary: I got this as a promotion with my samsung un40c7000 tv. The bluray player works fine. The only complaint I have is that even though it says it's divx certified. it doesn't play some divx videos for some reason.
Summary: The unit works fine most of the time, but it does have some issues that make me wish I had bought a different model. First the good stuff. The included Samsung Apps are awesome. The firmware upgrade process is quick and easy. Streaming Netflix movies through this unit is better than streaming directly to my TV because it doesn't require a major rewire of my audio system as this unit is already connected to my AV receiver.
Summary: I received this product as a part of a bundle with a Samsung 55 inch 8000 series 3D television. I didnt have a choice in the BD player, but with the price I paid for the TV, I didnt really care. The setup was simple and I dig how the Samsung components work together, from the auto sync with the BD player and TV to how the remote controls for each work with the other device.
Summary: This could have been a very good device, but the missed out on few critical things completely defeating its purpose. The youtube app restricts you from playing a playlist... so you have to individually play 10 minute clips one after another. And they refuse to do anything about it. Also the way they manage the app access is a little complicted... added to it not a very friendly way of entering alphanumerics many apps (except netflix, where it is good).
Summary: I've used this for some time, and am generally pleased, but like some others here I find that the lack of an audio lip-sync adjustment means that I have to put up with terrible lip-sync failure caused by the long video processing delay in Samsung TV's, as I use the audio outputs through a high quality audio system. My Humax Freesat box is ok as it has adjustment. While the USB socket is excellent for playing MP3 and H264 HD files, interlaced files produce 'mice teeth'.
