NOT suitable for other countries - different voltage

  • Summary: Never it is stated that this item is NOT a dual voltage item and doesn't support other countries' voltage systems. It even is proclaimed as an item, ready to be shipped to other countries. Must have been a great thing, but I'll never know it, burnt the thing down as soon as i plugged it into the socket. Can't even return it either, as i had it shipped abroad from US.

Worst consumer product I've ever used

  • Summary: Came free with my 52'' Samsung 3D plasma. Otherwise, I wouldn't pay $1 for it. Why is it so bad? It constantly crashes while I'm using the netflix app. The user interface is extremely slow. That means, after every crash (happens once or twice in the evening), it takes 3-4 minutes to turn it off and on. Extremely annoying. The culprit might be the netflix app, but the user experience is horrible regardless of who's to blame.

Stopped working after the warranty ran out

  • Summary: When I first got this Blu-ray player it was a brilliant piece of kit. But after the warranty ran out the Blu-ray player one day decided not to turn on. Once I pressed the power button on the Blu-ray player the Samsung sign would come onto my television and after that I would get the black screen of death. I have now sold this Blu-ray player for parts on eBay it was that bad.

strange noises

Worst player ever

  • Summary: This is not a review of the seller but on Samsung, Do not buy this player, it constantly freezes on you when you pause a blu ray meaning you have to eject the disc and start over. The menu is useless and doesnt always respond to the remote, complete waste of money!!

Misleading product specification

  • Summary: Where is support for BBC iPlayer? It is plastered all over the outside of the box. Misleading advertising. Unimpressed. This is a very disappointing Blu-Ray player for that reason.

Problematic 3D Blu Ray playback

  • Summary: ..yet another very poor Samsung product. This player hasn't had a firmware update since April and has issues playing Tron 3D, Tangled 3D and Saw 3D. When viewing these discs in 3D the player has problems decoding the image resulting in constant pixelation in the image. It is very annoying and in my opinion unless Samsung supply consumers with a firmware update the player is not fit for purpose.

  • Summary: THIS REVEIW HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS SELLER ITS SAMSUNG THAT ARE PUMP I got this dvd player just before christmas,and have used it about 5 times. Because the dvd player didn't work, so it went back to get repaired. I then got it back and it wouldn't connect to the internet and wouldn't download the necessary patch to repair it.
