Good all-round media player let down by a somewhat clunky interface.

Summary: Purchased this player because of the good reviews it received on What Hi-Fi and the special price it was offered. I assumed it was going to be a new item but it was, in fact, an ex-demmo unit (with a few nicks and scratches).
Summary: Hooked up to my VSX-923 AV amp well, totally awesome. Picture is stunning even the wife commented on picture quality and that's something. Easy to setup, and very easy to use. If you're looking for a Blu Ray player these are a must.
Summary: Always liked Pioneer products, and this one doesn't disappoint. This was my first foray into the world of 3D. Always read the reviews before purchase and everything was positive about this 3D BluRay player.
Summary: This has great features and works perfectly with my Pioneer Amp and LG Tv with HDMI Link. The dual HDMI output comes in very handy when you live with someone who doesn't want all the cinema sound, they can just watch it throught the TV. (Those people do exist).
Pros: lots of features , looks great , flawless picture 2d/3d
Summary: For £160, this Pioneer will play DVD Audio, SACD, DVDs audio CDs and blu-rays. Apart from opening the tray and the first few seconds of most discs, (for some reason, Transformers seems to be a little noisy all the way through) it's pretty quiet in operation.
Easy to use great picture quality 2D & 3D... I had to try it out!

Summary: Great value, I wanted to sick to the Pioneer range which doesn't disappoint in terms of its styling and went well with my 37" Kuro (ol' skool I know), now moved it over to a newer 42" Panasonic 3D TV and the picture quality looks awesome.
Pros: style , good value , great quality image , 2d & 3d , twin hdmi outputs
Summary: Fantastic player and great DLNA feature too need a player that covers most bases. No smart features but most TVs do that now anyway so not really missed. Picture from DVD and Blu Ray are amazing - its a bargain!!
Summary: I have enjoyed using this with my old 7.1 surround system using the 2nd HDMI feature, Surround sound is great and 3D performance is awesome. Don't use any online features so can't comment on those. The display is large and clear. Compared with Sony and Samsung this is a class above in my opinion.
Summary: The current pyramid-shaped range from Sony - whilst gaining positive plaudits in reviews - simply don't look or feel the part. I was looking for a player with good upscale performance on DVDs and they guys in Glasgow recommended this player.
Pros: build quality in general , performance , perceived value
Cons: tray flimsy , noisy while loading a discs , no blue on button illumination to match my sc-lx57
Summary: Easy to wire in to both TV and DAC, via HDMI and coax respectively. Sound (stereo as I don't do surround) on DVD-A at 96 kHz is excellent, highlighting the improvement over CD on the same mix. Sound and picture on DVD-V, using a variety of music DVDs, is again excellent.
Pros: excellent all round digital transport , especially for playing dvd-a
