Most Disappointing Experience

  • Summary: Purchased it in May, 2014 based on its good review for its picture quality. Disappointingly, the unit became faulty in less than one month (and mind you, I do not use it everyday). It freezes after powering up for no apparent reason one day and therefore was sent in for warranty claim. Waited three weeks for it and when it was returned, the earlier problem was solved but the WIFI wasn't working instead. Had to send it in again and am still waiting for it.

Not Happy

  • Summary: Just 5 days over the 30 days return policy and unable to contact seller or Amazon about a warranty issue with this product as it has stopped sending pictures to the TV, sound only, Connected another blu-ray to the TV and this displayed perfectly so all cables are OK and the issue is with the Pioneer BD-160 -K 3D Player.

  • Summary: Poor interface, there is a noticeable time delay when using the remote which is very sluggish. I suppose you get what you pay. I bought this to replace my broken ps3. (There is no comparison). I wish i had paid to have the ps3 repaired. i have had many av/hifi units from pioneer over the years. This is by far the worse piece of kit i have ever used. i would not recommend this unit.

  • Summary: I BOUGHT THIS ALONG WITH THE 450 MODEL AND I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS . THEY KEEP FREEZING & WON'T RESPOND TO THE REMOTE CONTROL. FOR A START I PERSONALY FEEL THAT BLU RAY OR I SHOULD SAY HIGH DEFINITION IS TOTAL BOLL*** SO I SET MY PLAYERS TO 480/576 SO AS THE MAJORITY OF BLU RAYS ARE 480P UPSCALED TO 1080P I SET MY MACHINES TO THE ORIGINAL OUTPUT NOT 1080P .

Disappointed

  • Summary: A very disappointing blu-ray player. My LG 3D blu-ray player was way too noisy, and I'd read that this Pioneer one was quiet with good picture quality. The good news first: it is very quiet. The bad news: within the first hour of playing a 3D blu-ray, the 3D turned on and off randomly a total of four times, saying 3D couldn't be detected, before turning back on again.

Excellent product, but dissapointed

  • Summary: the product works perfect, the delivery was excellent, but I order a black one, so it will match with the rest of my audio/visual system, I received a silver one!!!! My partner received the package and eagerly open it, installed it and dispose of the box, so I couldn't return it, by the time I came home and notice the big mistake it was too late. Our fault (so not complaining or anything) but still I was sent the wrong product really.
